For the business ladies in my life, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I schedule all of my social media ahead of time. Like an entire month ahead of time. First, because I LOVE batch working, and second because my main job as a romantic suspense author is…you guessed it, writing romantic suspense. But I’m also only one person on a business budget, so I can’t hire a social media manager right now, and that means I’m 100% in charge of finding and engaging with readers!
For about a year now, I’ve used a different scheduler than the one I’m going to talk about today, but I was having so many problems with glitches, uploading bulk posts, and having the posts automatically post when they were supposed to. Every day I’d have to manually go into the app, copy my caption, and post it on Facebook and Instagram, and it was taking up so much of my time. Oh, and I’d paid for a year’s membership. Nope, I’m not going to tell you which one, but if you go back through my Insta feed, I’m sure you could find it on your own.
Back on topic. When I’d heard Jenna Kutcher of the Goaldigger Podcast uses Tailwind, I decided to at least do a bit of research to see if this was something that could work better for me, and within minutes, you guys, I knew I’d found the perfect social media manager for my business. [Read more…]
